There's a lot of hype around this California style burrito shop, so naturally I had to stop by and see what the hype is about. It's a tiny shop on the end of St Mark's Place and seems like they alway have a crowd. I got their signature California Burrito w Carne Asada ($14). Packed within this burrito consists of french fries, cheese, pico de gallo, and your choice of protein. It probably was amazing if you've never had a burrito with french fries, but unfortunately there's quite a handful of shops that do this now. Filling for sure and delicious. For sure a convenient shop in the East Village if you're in this area craving a nice fat burrito.

I recently tried this takeout spot and was completely satisfied with my experience. I decided to order a hefty shrimp burrito, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The flavors were amazing, and the portion size was generous, making it a truly delicious and satisfying meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great takeout options, especially if you're in the mood for a mouthwatering shrimp burrito. The quality of the food and the convenience of takeout make it a top choice for a delicious meal on-the-go.

Excellent Cali burrito. The list of ingredients inside is short and simple, but what's there is quality. $12 for the burrito with chicken as of May 2024, but I recommend paying the extra $2 for guacamole. It's fresh and tasty. Service was fast- order only took 10 mins to be ready. It's a small place with a handful of stools inside if you want to dine in. Seemed like most people were coming in for takeout.

Excellent shrimp burrito. Limited seating inside for 6 stools or so, but great to grab and go. Interesting selection of burrito choices and for breakfast.

This place is so good and will cure any hangover -- classic san diego style burritos. Limited seating inside but they are super friendly and quick. Grab a burrito and go eat it in the park. To really top things off get a coffee or pastry nearby. Perfect Saturday morning.

Ordered the Chorizo and Hot Rod burritos to share among three people. If you need a comfort food fix, this place will hit the spot. The burritos are huge! If I ate it alone, one burrito would be two meals for me. I love that there were crispy french fries inside the burrito. The Hot Rod burrito was a tad bit too salty, but that was due to the bacon. I enjoyed the chorizo one more. I usually do not like beans in the burrito, but I did not mind it at all in these burritos, it was good. The eggs were perfectly cooked with an oozy/jammy yolk. The filling and flavors blended well together. In my area, there aren't TexMex breakfast burritos so I really enjoyed my food at Electric Burrito. We got there when they opened, and it was already very busy. There is complimentary water. It is small inside, but there are a few seats available to eat at.

Electric Burrito is one of my go-to places for a quick and easy meal! Their Southern California style burritos are not only delicious but they're also a hefty size so it'll definitely leave you fully satisfied. The Johnny Utah burrito is a personal favorite but their California burrito is also a delicious option. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors are well balanced. The Hot Rod Breakfast burrito (available all day!!) is also a delightful option for breakfast enthusiasts. One thing to note is that there is very limited seating but the staff is friendly and efficient. If you're ever in the East Village and craving delicious burritos, look no further!

As a flight attendant who eats one burrito during every SF overnight AND brings an extra one home, I love Electric. Their menu touts both Mission- and Southern California style burritos (no fries versus fries). Me personally? I always go no fries but they're both equally as scrumdiddlyumptious. Something about seeing the gent at the register always in his Padres hat comforts me in that I'm at the right place for a Cali burrito.

Have heard great things about these burritos and they met the expectation! The California burrito was delicious. The fries inside with cheese? Oh man that was good. We got pork inside. Great. Cramped inside. I think one burrito was $12. We shared and it was plenty of food. Really really tasty. Would return. Free water inside.
